Sydney Olympic Football Club today announced the appointment of Olympic Hall of Fame Legend Ante Juric as their new General Manager – Football.
Juric is a former Socceroo, who played over 200 matches for Sydney Olympic in the National Soccer League (NSL) and was captain of the Championship winning Olympic team that won the NSL title in 2002.
Off the field Juric has held a number of key Technical and Coaching positions which include most recently: Women’s Technical Director at Football NSW and Assistant National Technical Director at Football Federation Australia. In addition to these roles, Ante has also held current assistant coach roles with the Matildas and Head Coach roles with the Young Matildas. Juric has also performed the role of Opponent/Analyst Scout for both the Socceroos and Matildas squads.
Juric is currently the Head Coach of the Sydney FC W-league squad and will continue to perform this role while employed as General Manager – Football at Sydney Olympic.

Juric will focus for the remainder of the season on actively coaching both the Under 18 and 20 squads, as well as supporting the Youth, Women’s and SAP programs. He will also focus on the Club’s planning of its football programs, coach appointments, player advancement, recruitment and retention for next season.
Juric will start in the role once his commitments with Football NSW finish later this month.
