Sydney Olympic are excited to announce our second new signing for the 2018 season, Nicola Kuleski.
The 21-year old will be donning a different shade of blue and white for 2018 after completing the 2017 NPL season with Sydney FC Youth in their first year in NPL1.
The midfielder has represented the FYR Macedonia U17 and U21 National teams on several occasions and made his A-League debut for Sydney FC in April earlier this year, also taking to the field in their friendly match against EPL giants Liverpool FC in May.
Nicola has been around the NPL New South Wales competition for quite some time, splitting his youth career between Marconi Stallions, Blacktown City and Sydney FC and continuing to play with Manly United before re-joining Sydney FC Youth in 2015.
Head Coach, Gorka Etxeberria, expressed his excitement in adding a talented young player to the 2018 squad.
“I am really excited with Nicola Kuleski signing with Olympic because he’s excactly the type of player we want in the club,” he said.
“He’s a good player technically but more importantly he’s hungry to improve and develop and become a better footballer every day.
“Despite being young, Kuleski has international experience and that’s very valuable for a player joining Olympic.”
Kuleski will bring his pace and skill to the Sydney Olympic midfield in 2018 and will look to progress under Etxeberria in the coming season.
“My career is just at the beginning and I’m looking forward to a new chapter in my career,” he explained.
“Gorka is a very experienced coached with an absolutely fantastic CV and also a great and professional person. I cant wait to improve my game with his guidance.”
Kuleski has high hopes for the upcoming season and is excited to join the Olympic family for 2018.
“I signed for Olympic because I love the history and the ambition Olympic has always had.”
“I’m sure it will be a enjoyable year both on and off the pitch and I’m hoping we can get some silverware.”
