After selection in two Joeys training camps Sydney Olympic youngster Noah Botic was selected in the Joeys squad for the 2017 ASEAN Football Federation U-15 Championship.

Botic, who is also a member of the FFA High Performance Program at Westfield Sports High School, has shown his talent throughout the season in Olympic’s U15s Youth Men’s squad, coached by former Socceroo Milan Blagojevic.

Botic impressed Coach, Tony Vidmar, in the initial two camps and is currently in Thailand competing in Group A of the tournament against Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia and Singapore.

Botic was in the starting line up in Australia’s first game against Thailand last night, and despite the 2-1 loss will have plenty of time to impress and showcase his skills with four games remaining in the group stage.

Congratulations and best of luck to Noah and the rest of the team for the remainder of the tournament!

Australia’s remaining games are as follows:

Australia v Singapore, Tuesday 11th July, 7:00pm (AEST)

Australia v Indonesia, Thursday 13th July, 9:30pm (AEST)

Australia v Myanmar, Saturday 15th July, 7:00pm (AEST)

Australia v Laos, Monday 17th July, 7:00pm (AEST)
