With his father a former Olyroo and Australian National representative it comes as no surprise that, Stevan Ilic would follow suit and become a footballer.

At the age of 17, Stevan has become one of the State’s brightest talents and has been regarded as a ‘ future star of tomorrow’. Stevan is currently proudly representing the Australian Schoolboys team and is touring both the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Stevan joins the likes of several notable Socceroos, A-League and overseas based players, such as, Simon Colosimo, Marc Bresciano, Ned Zelic, Alex Brosque, Steve Corica and Tarek Elrich who have all previously been selected as Australian Schoolboys Representatives.

The talented young forward has made his presence known in the ‘world game’ and in addition to being selected to represent the Australian School Boys, Stevan proudly represented the state in the NSW Schools State Titles. Stevan was a force to be reckoned with throughout the State competition and obtained the Golden Boot award.

One of Stevan’s most treasured memories is his participation in the Asian Cup Qualifiers in 2009, in which he represented the Australian U/17’s (Joeys) side. A memory that Stevan will undoubtedly treasure for a lifetime.

Upon his return from international duty, Stevan will commence training with the Sydney Olympic FC  Reserve Grade team but hopes to secure and cement a position in the First Grade side. With his father Zoran as a mentor, there is no doubt that the sky is the limit for the youngster.

Sydney Olympic FC is extremely happy and proud of Stevan and would like to wish him the very best of luck for the remainder of the international tour. We are confident that Stevan will continue to represent our nation with pride as he does when he represents, the Sydney Olympic Football Club.
