Steve Kuzmanovski and Liam Rose join AIS

It is with great pleasure to see Sydney Olympic youth players achieving their goals and being recognized by the Australian Institute of Sports and other soccer institutions.

Two of our 2011 Under 14s players were selected to join the AIS next season.  Steve Kuzmanovski that has been with our Club since he has entered the Premier League two seasons ago, was also selected in the Under 13s AIS team two seasons ago and has been offered a position again in 2012.  Liam Rose that played his first season in the Premier League with Sydney United and moved on to Sydney Olympic for the 2011 season is the second player that was selected and it will be his first time to further develop his skills with the Australian Institute of Sports.

The Australian Institute of Sport Football Program is an association football talent identification and player development program run by the Australian Institute of Sport, in Canberra. The AIS runs this program for both men and women: the men's program was one of the eight founding sports of the AIS in 1981, with the women's program being added in 1998.

We would like to congratulate both players and their parents and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
