The Sydney Olympic FC Under 13's side kept their undefeated streak intact after they defeated rival club, Sydney United, with a 2 nil scoreline last Saturday in Round 13 of the competition. The Olympic Juniors are in 3rd spot on the ladder, 4 points behind the 1st placed APIA side who have played 15 games to Olympics' 11. This weekend the boys will meet the 9th placed Blacktown Spartans outfit who they defeated in Round 3 of the competition, with a 2-1 score line.
The Sydney Olympic FC Under 14's side will be in positive spirits after they celebrated a 1 nil victory over Sydney United in Round 13 of the competition. The boys are in 10th position on the ladder, 9 points outside the top 5 with games in hand. This Saturday the 'Blues' will encounter another challenge when they meet the 5th placed Blacktown Spartans outfit, who defeated Sydney Olympic, 3 nil in the two clubs' previous meeting at Blacktown Football Park.
Celebrations continued for the Sydney Olympic FC Under 16's side after they defeated the Rockdale City Suns with a 2-1 scoreline, on Wednesday night. Matteo Pandolfo and Daniel Bonomy were the goal scorers for the 'Blues'. The recent victory has enhanced the confidence of the Olympic side, who now set their sights on defeating the Blacktown Spartans on Saturday afternoon.
The Sydney Olympic FC Under 18's side will take on the 7th placed Blacktown Spartans outfit at 3 pm on Saturday afternoon. Last weekend the Olympic Juniors snared all three points with Drazen Vucer and Petros Stefadouros the goal scorers for the 'Blues'. Although their season has been plagued with injuries, the Under 18's squad have demonstrated great character, with several notable and courageous performances observed in previous weeks. John Conistis will take the reins as acting coach on Saturday whilst Chris Karatzis is abroad.
