Round 12: NSW Premier Youth League Preview

The Sydney Olympic FC Youth teams return to action in Round 12 of the competition and will take on the Rockdale City Suns on Saturday 16 June 2012 at Illinden Sports Centre.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 13's side are in exeptional form and have yet to be defeated in the 2012 season. The olympic juniors are in 2nd position on the ladder and have three games in hand. Nevertheless, the boys will set their sights on defeating the 12th placed, Rockdale City Suns outfit and aim to issue another spectacular performance under the guidance of Olympic legend, Eric Hristodoulou.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 14's side will encounter a difficult challenge on Saturday when they meet the 2nd placed Rockdale City Suns side. Rockdale have celebrated 8 victories so far in the 2012 season and will be looking to celebrate another on Saturday to cement a position at the top of the table. Sydney Olympic have produced some great performances in previous weeks and hope to cause an upset on Saturday, to demonstrate that they are not to be underestimated.

Three points celebrate the four teams at the top of the table in the Under 15's NSW Premier Youth League competition, with the olympic juniors sitting in 4th position on the ladder. Sydney Olympic have three games in hand but will set their sights on defeating their Round 12 opposition, Rockdale City Suns. The home side are in 11th position on the ladder and will need a victory in order to turn their season around.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 16's side have yet to peak in the 2012 season, with inconsistent performances wreaking havoc on the youthful side. The olympic juniors will meet the 6th placed Rockdale City Suns outfit on Saturday and will need all three points to transform their season and build momentum.

Drazen Vucer and Petros Stefadouros have issued great performances in the Under 18's NSW Premier Youth League competition and will be looking hit the back of the net, when they meet the 10th Rockdale City Suns side on Saturday afternoon. The olympic juniors are in 5th spot on the ladder and will be looking to dominate throughout the second half of the season to participate in finals football.
