Torrential rainfall interrupted the NSW Premier League last weekend, with both the defending champions and their Round 12 opponent, Rockdale City Suns given the weekend off as their respective fixtures were postponed.
The Blues will enter their Round 12 fixture at Illinden Sports Centre well-rested and with fresh legs and will look to continue their good form this Sunday 17th June 2012 when they meet Mark Rudan's Rockdale City Suns side.
Sydney Olympic FC are in 5th position on the NSW Premier League table, with a game in hand against Manly United FC. The 'Blues' will need to emulate their dominating form from the 2011 season to build momentum and secure a position in the top 5 and participate in finals football.
Sydney Olympic have an abundance of talent within their ranks, with captain Phil Makrys issuing several stellar performances in the middle of the park. Chris Triantis has also been in good form this season and has netted 3 goals from 10 appearances.

This Sunday's fixture will be one that is not to be missed, with the 1st Grade match between Sydney Olympic and Rockdale scheduled to kick off at 3 pm.
The Reserve Grade fixture between the two clubs will kick off prior at 1 pm.
After a slow start to the season, the Sydney Olympic FC Reserve Grade side have hit form and have produced some positive results and performances.
New recruit, James Demetriou has wrecked havoc in recent weeks and has netted several goals for the 'Blues' since his debut weeks ago.
