Round 10 NSW Premier Youth League Results

The Sydney Olympic FC Youth teams kicked off Round 10 of the competition at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday, with a down pour of rain in the early hours of the afternoon unable to distract the olympic juniors.

As always the Sydney Olympic FC Under 13's side began the match day proceedings and maintained a 10 game undefeated streak. A spectacular, 4 nil victory over Bonnyrigg White Eagles secured the streak, with the boys looking dominant as always. Young forward Makis Petratos netted a brace, whilst Tomas Meier and captain Peter Kekeris also found the back of the net. This weekend, the olympic juniors will travel to the recently refurbished Cromer Park and will meet the 3rd placed, Manly United outfit.

After several consecutive successful performances, the Sydney Olympic FC Under 14's side experienced an unexpected blow and obtained their 5th loss of the season against the White Eagles. The Olympic Juniors were defeated 3-1 by Bonnyrigg, with Perry Fotakopoulos the sole goal scorer for the 'Blues'. Despite the recent loss, the boys remain in 10th spot with a game in hand against the Marconi Stallions. This Saturday, the boys travel to Cromer Park where they will encounter the 8th placed, Manly United side.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 15's secured 3rd position on the ladder after they defeated the White Eagles with a convincing, 3 nil score line. The 'olympic juniors' are a mere three points behind the table leaders, Marconi who they will meet next Thurday at Marconi Stadium for a catch up game. This weekend, the boys will travel to Cromer Park and will aim to defeat the 7th placed Manly United outfit.

A 3-1 victory over the Bonnyrigg White Eagles saw the Sydney Olympic FC Under 16's team advance into 8th position on the ladder. A brace by Thomas Bonomy and a solo effort by Jarrod Mark Kenny secured the victory for the 'olympic juniors' who have obtained 3 wins, 4 defeats and 2 draws thus far. The 'Blues' will travel to Cromer Park on Saturday where they will face a difficult challenge in meeting the current table leaders, Manly United.

A battle for all three points was observed in the Under 18s fixture on Saturday afternoon, with the 'Blues' motivated by their previous 4-1 defeat mid-week at the hands of the Stallions. The boys put the defeat at the back of their minds and although they conceded the lead in the 1st half, the 'Blues' failed to give up. A down pour of rain did nothing to prevent the 'Olympic Juniors', who found an equaliser on the half hour mark, courtesy of Petros Stefadouros. With the score line at a dead lock at the half time break, it was the 'Blues' who obtained the match winner in the second stanza as Drazen Vucer found the back of the net for Olympic in the 72nd minute. This weekend the boys will meet the 6th placed, Manly United side who trail 2 points behind the olympic juniors.
