Sydney Olympic FC Youth Challenge the Spartans

The Sydney Olympic FC Youth teams will travel to Blacktown Football Park on Saturday 14th April 2012, in Round 3 of the NSW Premier Youth League and will take on the newly promoted Blacktown Spartans side.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 13's will kick off the match day proceedings as always and will be by no means lacking confidence, as they have yet to be defeated in the 2012 season. The match will not be easy for the 'olympic juniors' as the home side, the Blacktown Spartans will also be in good spirits after they defeated their opposition, Parramatta FC 2 nil last weekend, in Round 2 of the competition.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 14's side have yet to celebrate a victory in the 2012 season, with missed opportunities attributing to their defeat in previous fixtures. The highly experienced coach, Nonda Nitis will hope to lead his talented side to victory on Saturday, to restore his team's confidence and kick start his season campaign. The recently promoted, Blacktown Spartans defeated their opposition Parramatta FC, 2 nil last weekend and will not be giving up the three points easily this Saturday morning, when the two sides meet at Blacktown Football Park.

After a dramatic start to the 2012 season, whereby goal keeper Stefan Petrovski was given a red card in Round 1 of the competition, the Sydney Olympic FC Under 15's obtained a well deserved victory last weekend and got their season back on track. The 'olympic juniors' dominated their rivals Sydney United FC with a 3 nil score line and will be looking to do the same this weekend when they meet the Blacktown Spartans. The Spartans, were also victorious last weekend and will not be going down without a fight.

The Sydney Olympic FC Under 16's obtained their first point of the season last weekend after a 1-1 draw with Sydney United FC. This weekend the 'Blues' will be eagerly seeking the three points and hope to defeat the NSW Premier League's newest team. The Blacktown Spartans obtained a victory and a defeat in their opening two fixtures and will strive to achieve all three points at their home ground.

Chris Karatzis has the Sydney Olympic FC Under 18's side playing spectacular football, with the 'olympic juniors' celebrating two outstanding victories in their previous fixtures. This weekend, the boys will aim to preserve their undefeated streak and hope to celebrate their third win of the 2012 season. Midfielder, Dean Bereveskos has left a significant impression so far this season, as well as, forward Petros Stefadouros with both players already having scored two goals each this season and playing great attacking football. The home side, Blacktown Spartans have yet to celebrate a victory this season and will strive to rectify this, on Saturday afternoon.
