On Saturday 30^th July, 2011 the Football NSW and Sydney Olympic FC community were devastated to hear of the tragic passing of Mr Triantis, the father of Sydney Olympic FC players Chris and Peter Triantis. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Triantis family during this difficult time.

In loving memory of Mr Triantis, Sydney Olympic FC will be collecting monetary donations during this weekend’s youth and senior fixtures against Sydney United on Saturday 6^th August and Sunday 7^th August, 2011 at Belmore Sports Ground, in support of the Triantis family.

Sydney Olympic FC staff members and volunteers will be collecting donations, as well, as selling raffle tickets for $5 each, with a range of prizes to be offered and won.  The draw will be held at the last game of the season against APIA Tigers on Sunday 4 September 2011.  All proceeds from the tickets purchased will be donated to the Triantis family.  We encourage all Sydney Olympic FC members, supporters and game attendees to donate and support the Triantis family during this difficult time.
