Sydney Olympic supports the local community in front of thousands

Sydney Olympic attended the Yarra Bay Epiphany Celebrations yesterday Sunday 9 January 2011, where in front of over ten thousand people and dignitaries such as opposition leader Mr Barry O’Farrell, acting Premier Mrs Carmel Tebbutt, Archbishop Stylianos, members of the community and local MP’s.

The Club had a loud blue and white presence with a large stall offering free Under 16s Season passes and also selling memberships for 2011 with giveaways and merchandise on sale. 

In attendance at the Olympic store was former Newcastle jet winger and new signing for 2011 William Angel, young shot stopper and a goal keeper with a bright future, Nenad Vekic and surprise new signing that will be officially in the next few days.

Over 400 young Sydney Olympic fans signed up and received their Season Passes for 2011 with much excitement and anticipation to see Peter Tsekenis first grade team in action. 

Finally we would like to thank everyone who attended the Epiphany Celebrations yesterday at Yarra Bay and a special mention to all the fans who visited our stall, it was a pleasure to interact with you and share the excitement we all have for the forthcoming season.
